Madredeus is a music group from Portugal. Their music is categorised as New Age but they also sound similar to Fado.
Their music is soothing. The lady vocalist, Teresa Salquiero is accompanied by Portuguese guitar, violin, harmonica and keyboard. Most of the songs are written by Pedro Ayres Magalhães.
